The Way Our Family's Life Should Be... In a Sunburnt Country for Christmas

Having flown from Dublin to Sydney via Abu Dhabi, we happily reunited with Gill, Neil, Helen, Richard, Aaron and Lara in Australia. We needed the family, the antipodean weather, the tins of the amber nectar, the flat whites and the Tasman Sea. These pictures were taken in New South Wales at Shellharbour, Stanwell Tops and Richard and Helen's home/refuge in Shell Cove. And who would have thought such a relaxing life can be had amongst a host of the world's most venemous creatures. Australia is a magnificent natural resource. Beer and wine are tasty too.

The Irish Rugby and Football Season Comes to an End

This photo marks the end of the Irish rugby and football season for the two barbarians of Herbert Park. Rest assured, the next photo you see of these two will show them wearing a lot less gear because they travel this week to play in Australia, where it is summertime. Thank goodness!!!

"Hey, Bono, you home? It's Sunday bloody Sunday, man!"

Cill Iníon Léinín (Killiney Beach)

These photos were taken on Sunday afternoon, 2 Dec 07 at Killiney Beach just south of Dublin. Ours was a pilgrimmage of sorts because Lisa found herself standing in front of U2 Bono's house! That's his large white house on the hillside but more importantly Lisa had her picture taken at Bono's front gate! How cool is that???!!! Sunday Bloody Sunday!!!! Refer to our other blog entry to see the front gate photo.
